The August meeting was held at Placentia Linda Hospital, and was hosted by Danny Bower of MasterPlan. After dinner, Danny gave a presentation on "Medical Laser Technology." Several types of lasers were on display, as well
as accessories and test equipment. Also present at the meeting were Mike Tasker, the western Regional Service Manager for Alcon Laboratories, and Ray Olsowka, Field Engineer.   Ray gave a presentation on the Medical Technology behind Phacoemulsification, and then provided an inservice on first call response for the Alcon Legacy 20000. The result was an enjoyable as well as a very informative meeting.
