Introductions were made and an update presented to members on new OCBMETS structure.   It is the future goal of OCBMETS to offer high quality educational programs.   Our dues structure has been modified to better reflect this mission.   Corporate sponsorships are helping to offset the expense of our mailings and individual members are now responsible for annual dues which will offset the meeting food and beverage expenses.

Our evening meeting education program was 'Introduction to MRI Imaging' and was hosted by Garden Grove Hospital.  Roy Harris, BMET scheduled the presentation room, arranged for an MRI open  house, and had food and beverages brought in.  John Bedford, COHR presented the class with Ken Neubauer, COHR providing visual display.  John presented an overview of MRI and each member in attendance received reprints of each of the visual displays used during the evening.  After a short break each member had the opportunity to visit the MRI suite at the hospital.
